Girls Don’t Sync have announced their debut EP. ‘Code Orange’ will be released on 26th September via Fourmation/Positiva and is described as a union of “garage, hard house, and diasporic drums”. To correspond with the announcement, the trio of Matty Chiabi, Sophia Violet, Hannah Lynch and G33 — winners of DJ Mag’s Best of British Breakthrough Award in 2022 — have unveiled a new single in the form of ‘Workin’ With’, which you can check out via Apple Music below. Speaking on the single, they said: “This track is really about us continuing to take control as artists and creating a clear identity, literally sampling ourselves and fusing that with the sounds and inspirations we’ve always drawn from. It’s a track with instructions, which has become somewhat of a theme in our music, that commands dance floors and has caught the attention of our community, listeners and peers.” The single follows previously released tracks like ‘Come Get Dis’ and ‘Our House’, both of which also feature on the EP. Girls Don’t Sync will follow the release of ‘Code Orange’ with an autumn Europe tour. You can find out more info and get tickets here. The Liverpool group dropped their debut single ‘Come Thru’ last year, on their own Fourmation Records.
