Elton John is curating a new remix album for Positiva.
‘Positiva presents: Elton John – The Remixes’ brings together extended mixes, remixes and club edits of several John tracks, including ‘Cold Heart’ with Dua Lipa, reworked by both Claptone and The Blessed Madonna, and The 2 Bears’ reimagining of ‘Sad’ by Elton John vs Pnau.
There’s also Purple Disco Machine’s take on ‘Hold Me Closer’ with Britney Spears, a club mix edit of ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ featuring RuPaul by Sanchez and KDME’s remix of the iconic ‘Rocket Man’.
Pressed on glow-in-the-dark vinyl, the LP is being released for Record Store Day (RSD) 2026 and will be available exclusively through RSD retailers. Find out more via Rough Trade here.
Since launching in 1993, Positiva has found a home for everything from Adam F’s seminal drum & bass classic ‘Circles’ to music by Alice Deejay, aligning itself with house, trance and more styles along the way.
