Confidence Man are releasing a new EP. Out on 5th December, ‘Active Scenes Vol One’ is described as a “hedonistic love letter to club culture” and will comprise two new tracks, two remixes, and a Chris Lake edit of the group’s hit single ‘gossip’ with JADE. The EP will also contain ‘In A Band’, a rework of their early track ‘Don’t You Know I’m In a Band’ by French producer Sweely. “Put down your baby and pick up your dancin boots cause we’ve got a treat for you”, the group wrote in a press release. “Six slices of cake so sweet you’ll wanna eat it all at once. It’s turbo juice for ur dance floor, it’s like an endless pinga you can eat again and again and again. At a fraction of the cost. Thank us later or buy us a drink or something, much love conman xxxx” To mark the announcement, the BRIT-nominated electronic pop outfit have shared new single ‘Damaged Goods’, which you can listen to via Apple Music below. ‘Active Scenes Vol One’ follows the group’s BRIT award nomination for International Group of the Year and their ARIA nominations (Best Independent Release, Best Dance/Electronic Release, and Best Live Act for their third studio album ‘3AM (LA LA LA)’). Last month, Confidence Man and DJ Seinfeld reconvened for a new collaborative single, ‘The Right’, which was accompanied by a video shot in London and Tokyo directed by UK Music Video Awards-nominee India Harris. Earlier this year, Confidence Man released a remix collection from their 2024 record, ‘3AM (LA LA LA)‘, which packed in contributions from Orbital, I. JORDAN, Demi Riquísimo and Special Request.
