Paul van Dyk has announced an immersive new live show concept, CORE360. The 360° performance experience will debut at 99 Scott in New York City on 29th November, with van Dyk performing an open-to-close, six-hour set on the night. Performing in the centre of the venue, the DJ will be positioned on a circular stage surrounded by the audience. The show will feature multiple instruments and controllers, allowing him to perform and improvise in real time In a statement, the trance DJ and producer said: “CORE360 is about breaking down barriers. It’s about bringing the audience closer to the creative process, surrounding them with sound and emotion. It’s a shared experience; we’re all in the middle of the music together.” Tickets for the event, which will run from 10 PM – 4 AM, are available here. Further plans to tour CORE360 will be revealed at a later date. Paul van Dyk is currently exhibiting his Roland TR-808, used to make tracks like the iconic ‘For An Angel’, at the Synthesizer Museum Berlin. It will remain on display until next year.
