Depeche Mode have announced a new live album and concert film.

Tuesday 28th October will see the cinematic release of Depeche Mode: M, capturing three sold-out shows at Mexico City’s Forso Sol Stadium. The film will then hit shops on 5th December, with the home edition spanning two DVDs or Blu-rays, accompanied by two CDs.

One of the discs contains a full concert, while another is dedicated to exploring Mexico’s famous relationship with death and spirituality, blended with live footage, directed by Fernando Frías. The movie premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in June.

The same day, Depeche Mode will also put out ‘Memento Mori: Mexico City’, a live audio recording from the dates. This runs across 2 CDs or four vinyl LPs, and all editions feature previously unreleased tracks from the original 2023 ‘Memento Mori’ album – including ‘In The End’, which is due to drop as a standalone single tomorrow, Friday 24th October.

Last month Paul Kalkbrenner unveiled a new track, ‘Dreaming‘, which is a rare example of an officially licensed Depeche Mode sample. The veteran Berlin producer’s tune uses parts of the UK band’s 2000 chart hit, ‘Dreamer’, which first arrived with remixes from Dave Clarke and Bushwacka!, among others.
