The Weeknd has finally uploaded his highly sought-after collaboration with Swedish House Mafia, ‘Closing Night’, to YouTube. Check it out below.

Originally released as an exclusive bonus track, which could only be found on the Pharrell Williams Edition of ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’, the collab was previously only available to fans who ordered a vinyl copy of the album direct from The Weeknd’s website.

Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd have been close collaborators for several years now, their first joint effort being the billion-streaming global hit, ‘Moth To A Flame’ in 2021. Subsequent collaborations include ‘Sacrifice’ and ‘How Do I Make You Love Me?’, which SHM co-produced for The Weeknd’s 2022 LP, ‘Dawn FM’. A remix of ‘Sacrifice’ was included on the soundtrack to the second Avatar film.

The Weeknd released his most recent album, ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’, in February, which was preceded by a short film in which the Canadian singer-songwriter co-starred alongside Barry Keoghan and Jenna Ortega. A feature length-film, also titled Hurry Up Tomorrow, was released in May with the same cast.

Meanwhile, in a cryptic social media post shared in June, Swedish House Mafia announced the beginning of what they called ‘3.0’. The announcement was followed by a new track, ‘Wait So Long’, and the launch of a new label site, SUPERHUMAN, which they opened up for fans to submit demos.

Last month, they announced that an upcoming show at Mexico’s largest bullring, Plaza de Toros, in the country’s capital, would mark the official start of the 3.0 era.
