Armin van Buuren and Adam Beyer have collaborated on record for the first time.

Out now, ‘Techno Trance’ is a take on Dutch producer D-Shake’s 1992 song ‘Techno Trance (Paradise Is Now)’. van Buuren and Beyer’s own version aims to blend the euphoric melodies of the former’s music with the driving, harder percussion of the latter’s work.

In a statement, van Buuren said: “‘Techno Trance’ still hits hard after 30 years. Reworking it with Adam let us revive the spirit of that era in a 2025 jacket, connecting a new generation on the dancefloor with our combined signature sounds.

“I was so excited by the reaction. It shows that when you take risks and explore beyond genre boundaries, fans are ready to embrace it, and the energy on stage and in the crowd proves it.”

Beyer added: “Playing the track back-to-back with Armin and seeing both trance and techno fans connect instantly was incredible. It shows that great music goes beyond genres and eras, and the energy speaks for itself. Moments like that remind me why we do this; seeing people from different scenes come together through the power of music is truly special.”

Listen to ‘Techno Trance’ below.

The release of the new song follows van Buuren releasing a first-time collaboration with Martin Garrix, ‘Sleepless Nights’, last month.
